⚡️ Celebrities that are really into crypto

With crypto becoming impossible to ignore, even celebrities are getting in on the game. From rappers to actors to um, Gwyneth Paltrow. Who knew right?

Donald Glover

Multiple Emmy-winning actor and rapper Donald Glover, star of Atlanta and the Star Wars spinoff, Solo, is a fan of crypto. Glover, who also raps under the name Childish Gambino, told Time Magazine, “Yeah, I know a lot of people are skeptical, but I feel like if everything’s going to live online, why not Bitcoins? Being backed by gold seems very old and nostalgic to me.”

We can only hope to get a crypto track on his next album. Or maybe a second Star Wars spinoff, “Hans Crypto”.

Remember the band LMFAO? Well, the creative DJ was so inspired by blockchain that he became a coder to work on an Ethereum project! He is very into the blockchain and has donated several personal items for TokenStars Crypto Christmas Charity Auction.

Gwyneth Paltrow

Star of the Iron Man series and founder of the popular site, Goop, has caught the crypto bug. She was so impressed by the pitch from Bitcoin-wallet-startup Abra on the Apple show Planet of the Apps, that she joined their advisory board.

Could GoopCoin be next?

Ashton Kutcher

The star of That ‘70s Show, Two and a Half Men, and the underrated Dude Where’s My Car? is a big believer in crypto. In fact, he’s been tweeting about Ethereum since 2014.

At TechCrunch, Kutcher discussed the “decentralized technology” that makes Bitcoin possible. “The notion that we could civically monitor each other in an anonymous way actually keeps the anonymity of the Internet. We don’t have to worry about Big Brother, and that same infrastructure that built out Bitcoin could be used in the security industry for mass good.”

And maybe just maybe we’ll get the much-needed sequel,* Dude, Where’s my Crypto*?
